Overview
Knowledge work is messy. Notes, research, and references scatter across apps, browsers, and files. Users struggle to connect ideas, track context, and recall insights efficiently.
The client wanted a desktop app that could store, link, and surface information intuitively while remaining fast, flexible, and distraction-free.
To align the team early, I framed our progress through measurable achievements:
Reduced average note-creation steps from 5 to 2;
Cut search time by introducing instant, type-ahead results;
Increased link usage after simplifying the gesture to a single shortcut;
Improved readability with unifies typography and modular panels;
Raised adoption in testing after removing structural complexity.
