The client wanted a calm, unified app for saving titles, capturing reflections, and discovering meaningful next steps.

I studied how people choose, track, and reflect on books and films, then shaped prototypes around those real habits.
Users consistently preferred simplicity, so each iteration removed friction: quicker saves, lighter notes, clearer recommendations.
Working with engineering, I aligned the data model to keep the UI consistent and calm as the app evolved.
